At UIDAI, I worked on building a new Aadhaar application, one that was meant to give people real control over their own identity data rather than just a digital card to flash and forget. What started as a product brief quietly became a research question about whether design can actually restore agency in a system this large and this consequential.

Hi, I’m Riya.

I love getting lost in a good book, playing chess like I actually know what I’m doing, and hanging out with my cats (more like serving them). Most days, you’ll find me messing around with design ideas, geeking out over AI tools, or laughing at something only designers would find funny.

I like keeping things curious, a little chaotic, and mostly fun.
That’s pretty much the vibe, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
